Art World Marbella art fair

The 2026 summer art calendar reached its pinnacle in the Spanish resort of Marbella. Held from July 30 to August 2, the contemporary art fair Art World Marbella 2026 at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones Adolfo Suárez transformed the region into a vibrant, global cultural hub. Once again, the event proved its flawless ability to merge a sophisticated curatorial selection with the luxury goods market and international design.

This year’s edition impressed with both its scale and statistics. The exhibition space hosted over 90 exhibitors and prestigious galleries—such as Madrid’s esteemed Van Gogh Art Gallery and the local Mayen Gallery—showcasing works that represented over 80 countries from six continents. More than 500 independent artists exhibited a total of over 5,000 unique pieces, ranging from contemporary painting and sculpture to fine art photography and advanced mixed-media installations. The four-day event drew crowds of collectors, art dealers, and art enthusiasts from all over the world.

The presentation of works by Polish visual artist and sculptor Gaya Lastovjak fit seamlessly into this multicultural dialogue. Combining her original techniques of manipulating paper-mâché, canvas, and oil paint, she created pieces that deeply explore the human condition and emotionality. Her work perfectly aligned with this year's curatorial trend of searching for authenticity and the "human trace" in art.

Beyond traditional gallery displays, the fair offered a rich program of accompanying events. The public had the opportunity to admire the creative process firsthand through live painting sessions. This included a spectacular, record-breaking speed-painting performance by renowned artist Denys Dytyniuk, who created his artwork in just 3.5 minutes. The open, fluid layout of the fair encouraged direct interactions, making Art World Marbella 2026 one of the most accessible and dynamic events in the contemporary European art market.

Letni kalendarz artystyczny 2026 roku zyskał swój punkt kulminacyjny w hiszpańskim kurorcie Marbella. Odbywające się w dniach 30 lipca – 2 sierpnia targi sztuki współczesnej Art World Marbella 2026 w Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones Adolfo Suárez przekształciły region w tętniące życiem, globalne centrum kultury. Wydarzenie to po raz kolejny udowodniło, że potrafi bezbłędnie połączyć wysublimowaną selekcję kuratorską z rynkiem dóbr luksusowych i międzynarodowym designem.

Tegoroczna edycja imponowała rozmachem oraz statystykami. Przestrzeń wystawiennicza gościła ponad 90 wystawców i prestiżowych galerii (takich jak cenione madrycka Van Gogh Art Gallery czy lokalna Mayen Gallery), które zaprezentowały dzieła reprezentujące ponad 80 krajów z sześciu kontynentów. Ponad 500 niezależnych artystów wystawiło łącznie przeszło 5000 unikalnych prac – od malarstwa współczesnego, przez rzeźbę i fotografię artystyczną, aż po zaawansowane instalacje mixed-media. Czterodniowe wydarzenie przyciągnęło rzeszę kolekcjonerów, marszandów oraz miłośników sztuki z całego świata.

W ten wielokulturowy dialog wpisała się prezentacja prac polskiej artystki wizualnej i rzeźbiarki, Gayi Lastovjak. Lącząc autorskie techniki operowania papier-mâché, płótnem i farbą olejną, stworzyła dzieła głęboko poruszające temat ludzkiej kondycji i emocjonalności, idealnie wpisując się w tegoroczny kuratorski trend poszukiwania autentyczności i "ludzkiego śladu" w sztuce.

Poza tradycyjnymi ekspozycjami galeryjnymi targi oferowały bogaty program wydarzeń towarzyszących. Publiczność miała okazję podziwiać proces twórczy na żywo (live painting), w tym widowiskowy, rekordowy pokaz malowania ekspresowego w wykonaniu uznanego artysty Denysa Dytyniuka, który stworzył swoje dzieło w zaledwie 3,5 minuty.
