The "Connections" exhibition is a multidimensional artistic project that analyzes the complex interpretations of contemporary creators. The exhibition serves as a space for exploring and communicating unique bonds built through the extraordinary stylistic diversity of the invited artists. Between the meaning of the works and their mutual relations, a fascinating narrative emerges, bringing to life a dialogue within this exceptional set of artistic links.
The venue for this artistic encounter is the Museo Crocetti in Rome — a prestigious contemporary art institution dedicated to the legacy of the eminent Italian sculptor Venanzo Crocetti (1913–2003). Within the museum walls, which permanently showcase over a hundred of the master's works — ranging from monumental bronze and marble sculptures to intimate drawings and documents from 1930–1998 — solo and group exhibitions of artists from around the world are regularly hosted.

As part of the international exhibition "Connections," alongside renowned artists such as Popo Nicolas Aguilar, Andreas Angleitner, Axel Becker, Gisela Haya Kim, Tereza Ordyan, and Suzanne Ranzijn, the work of Gaya Lastovjak was also presented. The artist showcased her three-dimensional painting titled "Trepped" — a moving piece created using her signature papier-mâché technique, which perfectly contributes to the dialogue on human emotions and limitations that forms the core of this Roman exhibition.

Wystawa „Połączenia” (Connections) to wielowymiarowy projekt artystyczny, który poddaje analizie złożone interpretacje współczesnych twórców. Ekspozycja staje się przestrzenią poszukiwań i przekazu unikalnych więzi, budowanych poprzez niezwykłą różnorodność stylistyczną zaproszonych autorów. Między znaczeniem dzieł a ich wzajemnymi relacjami rodzi się fascynująca narracja, która ożywia dialog wewnątrz tego wyjątkowego zestawu artystycznych powiązań.
Miejscem tej artystycznej konfrontacji jest Muzeum Crocetti w Rzymie – prestiżowa instytucja sztuki współczesnej poświęcona spuściźnie wybitnego włoskiego rzeźbiarza Venanzo Crocetti (1913–2003). W murach muzeum, na co dzień eksponujących ponad sto dzieł mistrza – od monumentalnych rzeźb z brązu i marmuru, po intymne rysunki i dokumenty z lat 1930–1998 – regularnie goszczą wystawy indywidualne i zbiorowe twórców z całego świata.
W ramach międzynarodowej ekspozycji „Połączenia”, obok uznanych artystów takich jak Popo Nicolas Aguilar, Andreas Angleitner, Axel Becker, Gisela Haya Kim, Tereza Ordyan czy Suzanne Ranzijn, zaprezentowano także twórczość Gayi Lastovjak. Artystka pokazała tam swój trójwymiarowy obraz zatytułowany „Uwięziona” – poruszającą pracę wykonaną w autorskiej technice papier-mâché, która idealnie wpisuje się w dialog o ludzkich emocjach i ograniczeniach, stanowiący oś rzymskiej wystawy.
